  • Kindly note that the 4x100m Relay is no longer a Mixed Event.  Each country will be represented by a Male Team and a Female Team.  The rules regarding the event still stands.

Wheel-barrow (2 Males and 2 Females )

  • One person is the barrow and the other is the pusher. Persons move as quickly as possible from the starter’s orders and scramble to the finish line.

Three-legged race

  • This is open; i.e. either two males or two females or mixed. Both must be tied together at the knee roll and ankles and hugged together. Both must sprint to the finish and must finish up as they started; i.e. tied together.

All Dressed and no where to go

  • 1 Male and 1 Female per team will participate in separate races. The participants upon the starter’s orders will run to a pile of clothes (including laced up shoes and pant/skirt and shirt/blouse and socks. They will then try to get completely dressed and then run back to the finish. Only persons, who are completely dressed, will be able to win a place.

Balloon Toss Relay

  • 6 persons per team (3 males & 3 females). The object of the game is to skillfully empty baskets, each with equal amounts of water filled balloons, by tossing them along an equidistant production line until they are placed in a receiving basket. The time will be a set time in which this must be done. The team with the most balloons in the quickest time will win. This means also that if at the end of time there is a tie in the number of balloons in a basket; then the team with the fastest time wins.

Water Race Relay

  • Open to any 3 persons per team. There will be a water source and a water-catchment area. At the start the first person runs up to the water source tub with a punctured container (with several holes in it) and dips and carries back to the catchment tub the water and empties the contents into the catchment area. The second person then is given the container and repeats the action; and then the third follows the same actions. At the end the person with the most water in the catchment wins. If a tied result looms then the time factor comes into play as the decider.

Wheel Runner Relay

  • Open event - 4 players pass a wheel from person to person from start to finish using an iron guide. The person who crosses the finish line first with wheel wins.

Needle and Thread

  • 2 players per team. One has the needle and the other has the thread. The player with the thread sprints up to the one with the needle, quickly threads it and both sprint back to the finish.

Lime and Spoon

  • Male and female events will take place. Once started participants will try to move swiftly to the finish carrying lime in spoon. Persons must only hold the handle of the spoon. If the lime drops; that person must STOP, put the lime back into its place AND THEN CONTINUE. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
